International Conference on ‘Recent Technology in Innovative Smart Systems’ RTISS 2024 On 20 Jan 2024

The International Conference on ‘Recent Technology in Innovative Smart Systems’ RTISS 2024, held on January 20, 2024, at K. L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women in Faridabad and sponsored by Association of Chemistry Teachers (ACT), marked a significant convergence of intellect and innovation in the field of smart systems and technology. The event was organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell in collaboration with the Research and Development (R&D) Cell of the esteemed institution. The International Conference commenced with a symbolic Lamp Lighting Ceremony, signifying the enlightenment and knowledge that the conference aimed to spread. Following this, students enthralled the audience with a soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana setting an auspicious tone for the event.
The President of College, Shri Anand Mehta Sir and Principal, Dr.Manju Dua Mam presented the saplings and shawls to the Keynote Speaker Dr.Wasudeo , special guest- Dr.Sunidhi, Principal, GCG, Nacholi and to all Resource Persons as a token of gratitude. The saplings were also presented to the Chairpersons.
Shri. Anand Mehta Sir, President, MDES and the Chief Patron delivered the inaugural speech. He expressed his delight at witnessing the convergence of experts and enthusiasts in the realm of smart systems. Shri.Mehta Sir highlighted the importance of staying at the forefront of technological advancements and encouraged participants to actively engage in knowledge-sharing throughout the conference. His speech set the tone for a day filled with insightful discussions and collaborative endeavors.
Dr. Beena Sethi, the Incharge of the Research & Development (R&D) Cell, initiated the International Conference on Recent Technology in Innovative Smart Systems (RTISS) 2024 by extending a warm welcome to the distinguished attendees. She emphasized the significance of the conference in fostering a collaborative platform for exploring cutting-edge advancements in smart systems and technology. Dr. Sethi, highlighted the commitment of K. L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women to academic excellence and innovation. The “Book of Abstracts “ was also released by Shri. Anand Mehta Sir, Principal and all the dignitaries. All the selected abstracts were published .
Prof. Brijesh Pare, the Guest of Honour and President of the Association of Chemistry Teachers (ACT), extended greetings to the participants virtually. He emphasized the crucial role of such conferences in bridging the gap between academic research and practical applications in the ever-evolving field of technology. Prof. Pare expressed his enthusiasm for the diverse discussions that would unfold during the conference and commended the collaborative efforts of the organizing committee.
Dr. Wasudeo B. Gurnule, the Keynote Speaker from Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur, and Secretary of the West Zone, ACT, provided a thought-provoking keynote address. He shared valuable insights into the current trends, challenges, and future prospects of innovative smart systems, setting the stage for the thematic discussions to follow.
Resource Persons for the Conference were Prof. M. Swaminathan, University of Kalasalingam, Tamil Nadu, India, Prof. Venga Bakrishanan, University of Malaya, Malaysia, Prof. Gladys Completo, University of Phillipines. Invited talk was given by Dr. Sweety Verma, Post doc Researcher, KITECH, South Korea.
Dr. Sunidhi, Principal, GCG Nacholi, Faridabad, Dr. Sanjeev, Govt. College, Tigaon, Faridabad, Prof. Aurangzeb Khurram Hafiz, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, Dr. Ekta Rawat, Manav Rachna University, Faridabad, Dr. Harish, YMCA University, Faridabad, Dr. Arpit Sand, Manav Rachna University, Faridabad, Dr. Bhaskar Nagar, YMCA University, Faridabad were the Chairpersons for the different Technical Sessions.
During the conference, there were 4 sessions including Paper Presentation sessions and Poster presentation sessions. Around 245 entries were registered for Paper presentation and 54 were registered for poster presentation and 70 were the attendees. The total number of abstracts and posters received from different countries and all over India were more than 400. All the participants will be awarded with the certificates. Best Paper and Poster Presenters were rewarded.
Dr. Meenu Dua, Head, Department of Chemistry gave the valedictory speech. She shared her views and experiences on RTISS 2024. She said that this conference was a resounding success, providing the platform for the global community to share knowledge, discuss challenges and build connections.
The outcomes of this conference are expected to have a lasting impact on the advancement of RTISS 2024. As we look forward, the lessons learned and collaborations formed during the event will undoubtedly contribute to further progress and innovation in our shared pursuits.
