As the festive season of Diwali has approached, the Department of Computer Science at K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women organized the ” Mood Indigo 2023” under the “Earn While You Learn” scheme. This initiative aimed to blend celebration, enjoyment, skill development, and entrepreneurship to celebrate “National Entrepreneurship Day” which is on 9th November.
Mood Indigo 2023 provided students with a platform to develop their entrepreneurial skills by selling a variety of Diwali-related products, such as jewellery, torans, diyas, and decorative items. Many students exhibited their culinary skills and got profit by selling it.
The event featured several creative activities, including Food Stalls, nail art, diya decoration, and rangoli. These activities allowed students to display their artistic talents and craftsmanship.
A notable feature of Mood Indigo 2023 was the highly successful competition held for diya decoration and rangoli. Students from various backgrounds participated enthusiastically and exhibited their creativity.
Respected Principal Dr. Manju Dua provided valuable guidance and support throughout the event. Her encouragement has always been a source of motivation for students, inspiring them to work hard and pursue their dreams. Dr. Neha Jain (Head – Department of Computer Science) played a crucial role in managing the event. Her constant motivation encouraged students to step forward and showcase their hidden skills. As the Head of the Department, her leadership was instrumental in the event’s success. The entire staff of the Department of Computer Science collaborated wholeheartedly to ensure the event’s success. Their dedication and teamwork were commendable.
The facilities from other Departments were full of praise for the efforts made by students. They were merry. The students other than Computer Science Department saw the event and appreciated it.
We look forward to future events that continue to nurture the talents and aspirations of our students.
