Department of Computer Science, under the aegis of Zerone Digital Club organised “IT Hardware Workshop” on October 8th, 2022 in Seminar Hall. There were 150 students of BCA, MSc. (Computer Science), BCom. (CA) in total who participated in this Workshop. College Administrative Staff and teachers also got benefitted from this. Mr. Laxman Tanwar was the Resource Person of the Workshop. Everyone participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.Students asked their queries regarding better care of the hardware of their PC and laptop. Students said they would love to have more workshops like this in future. Dr. Neha Jain, Head of Department of Computer Science, motivated all to be an active participant and also congratulated Ms. Poonam(Convener) and Ms. Ekta (Co-Convener) for their great efforts in organising this technical Workshop.
The International Conference on ‘Recent Technology in Innovative Smart Systems’ RTISS 2024, held on January 20, 2024, at K. L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women in Faridabad and sponsored by Association of Chemistry Teachers (ACT), marked a significant convergence of intellect and innovation in the field of smart systems and technology. The event was organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell in collaboration with the Research and Development (R&D) Cell of the esteemed institution. The International Conference commenced with a symbolic Lamp Lighting Ceremony, signifying the enlightenment and knowledge that the conference aimed to spread. Following this, students enthralled the audience with a soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana setting an auspicious tone for the event. The President of College, Shri Anand Mehta Sir and Principal, Dr.Manju Dua Mam presented the saplings and shawls to the Keynote Speaker Dr.Wasudeo , special guest- Dr.Sunidhi, Principal, GCG, Nacholi and to all Resource Persons as a token of gratitude. The saplings were also presented to the Chairpersons. Shri. Anand Mehta Sir, President, MDES and the Chief Patron delivered the inaugural speech. He expressed his delight at witnessing the convergence of experts and enthusiasts in the realm of smart systems. Shri.Mehta Sir highlighted the importance of staying at the forefront of technological advancements and encouraged participants to actively engage in knowledge-sharing throughout the conference. His speech set the tone for a day filled with insightful discussions and collaborative endeavors. Dr. Beena Sethi, the Incharge of the Research & Development (R&D) Cell, initiated the International Conference on Recent Technology in Innovative Smart Systems (RTISS) 2024 by extending a warm welcome to the distinguished attendees. She emphasized the significance of the conference in fostering a collaborative platform for exploring cutting-edge advancements in smart systems and technology. Dr. Sethi, highlighted the commitment of K. L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women to academic excellence and innovation. The “Book of Abstracts “ was also released by Shri. Anand Mehta Sir, Principal and all the dignitaries. All the selected abstracts were published . Prof. Brijesh Pare, the Guest of Honour and President of the Association of Chemistry Teachers (ACT), extended greetings to the participants virtually. He emphasized the crucial role of such conferences in bridging the gap between academic research and practical applications in the ever-evolving field of technology. Prof. Pare expressed his enthusiasm for the diverse discussions that would unfold during the conference and commended the collaborative efforts of the organizing committee. Dr. Wasudeo B. Gurnule, the Keynote Speaker from Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur, and Secretary of the West Zone, ACT, provided a thought-provoking keynote address. He shared valuable insights into the current trends, challenges, and future prospects of innovative smart systems, setting the stage for the thematic discussions to follow. Resource Persons for the Conference were Prof. M. Swaminathan, University of Kalasalingam, Tamil Nadu, India, Prof. Venga Bakrishanan, University of Malaya, Malaysia, Prof. Gladys Completo, University of Phillipines. Invited talk was given by Dr. Sweety Verma, Post doc Researcher, KITECH, South Korea. Dr. Sunidhi, Principal, GCG Nacholi, Faridabad, Dr. Sanjeev, Govt. College, Tigaon, Faridabad, Prof. Aurangzeb Khurram Hafiz, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, Dr. Ekta Rawat, Manav Rachna University, Faridabad, Dr. Harish, YMCA University, Faridabad, Dr. Arpit Sand, Manav Rachna University, Faridabad, Dr. Bhaskar Nagar, YMCA University, Faridabad were the Chairpersons for the different Technical Sessions. During the conference, there were 4 sessions including Paper Presentation sessions and Poster presentation sessions. Around 245 entries were registered for Paper presentation and 54 were registered for poster presentation and 70 were the attendees. The total number of abstracts and posters received from different countries and all over India were more than 400. All the participants will be awarded with the certificates. Best Paper and Poster Presenters were rewarded. Dr. Meenu Dua, Head, Department of Chemistry gave the valedictory speech. She shared her views and experiences on RTISS 2024. She said that this conference was a resounding success, providing the platform for the global community to share knowledge, discuss challenges and build connections. The outcomes of this conference are expected to have a lasting impact on the advancement of RTISS 2024. As we look forward, the lessons learned and collaborations formed during the event will undoubtedly contribute to further progress and innovation in our shared pursuits. At the end, we express our gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this International Conference. In the end Principal of the College appreciated the Conveners, Dr.Beena Sethi and Dr.Meenu Dua, the organising committee, delegates from different countriesdifferent states. and-students. The Conference concluded with the National Anthem.
The Research and development cell of KL Mehta Dayanand college for women Faridabad organised a one day seminar on the topic, ‘How to decide a project problem’. The resource person for the seminar was Dr Pradeep K. Varshney, Dean of Research and Science at Manav Rachna University, Faridabad. The seminar was held exclusively for the students of all PG programs running in the college. The session started with a lamp lightening ceremony and Gayatri mantra recitation followed by a highly influential lecture by Dr Pradeep Varshney Sir who talked about the very basics of deciding a project problem’ and what all points should be kept in mind while going for a project or research as the main parameter that decides the rest of the parameters of the project is what and how the problem should be worked upon. The session was interesting and interactive throughout as Sir kept asking questions and solving students’ queries in between the session only. The lecture was quite informative and provided encouragement to all the students present. Everyone enjoyed and appreciated the seminar. The teacher in charge of R and D Cell, Dr. Beena Sethi Mam also appreciated the efforts of Dr. Pradeep K. Varshney Sir for his valuable session. She also presented a sapling to Sir as a token of appreciation. This was followed by a formal vote of thanks to him. Around 100 students attended the seminar.
Under the guidance of honourable Principal Dr.Manju Dua and respected Dr. Neha Jain Head of Department of Computer Science, organized a 4-Day Workshop on ‘Creative Industry ‘ by Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) from 11th April to 15th April. The objective behind scheduling the workshop is to introduce different fields like video editing, graphic designing and animations to the students.
This Workshop was organised by Ms.Poonam(convener), Ms.Tanshi (Industry update) and Mr.Ankit (Technical Head). The workshop was a very good combination of technical and practical knowledge .50 students was participating and they were encouraged by providing certificates and prizes at the end of the workshop.The students prepared the departmental magazine cover after learning designing and animations. Under the guidance of Ms.Poonam (DoCS) Drishti Ahuja,Megha sharma, Ronak gupta,Anshul,Ritu,Fatma, Ridhima,Rachna and Nishi (BCA 1st & 2nd year Students)Organised the whole event.
Kala Sangam Club of Department of Home Science and Saundarya Beauty Training Centre organized a workshop on Makeup by Lakme Academy powered by Aptech on 27/04/23. The workshop was based on makeup skills.The makeup artist from the Lakme Academy gave a complete demonstration on Party Makeup . Nearly 50 students participated in the workshop with great enthusiasm and students also asked questions during the makeup demonstration. Our honourable Principal, Dr.Manju Dua encouraged the students to be the part of skill development courses so that they become self reliant. Ms. Archna Dua ,Head of the Department also motivated students to participate in such workshops and get the most benefit out of such workshops . Department of biosciences has organised one day workshop on IPR on 10th April 2023. The resource person of the event was Mr Rahul Bagga Director of Aumirah & affiliates . The workshop focused on various components and policies of IPR such as patents,trademark ,Industrial design copyright,trade secret which motivated the students to file there innovative ideas and gain the maximum benefit from their creativity and ingenuity. The workshop was attended by approximately 150 students. Our esteemed Principle Dr. Manju Dua appreciated the students for attending the workshop and congratulated Dr. Sheel Singh,Head of department and Dr. Shveta Arya for organising such an informative workshop.
Department of Home Science organised Fevicryl Crafts exhibition-cum-competition on 21 Feb,2023. Display of various crafts articles learnt during the 3 day Fevicryl workshop (6feb,2023 to 8 Feb 2023) was held in the Clothing and Textiles laboratory of the department. Exhibition-cum-competition of bottle decoration, Stole Painting and Lippan Art were held. Students of various streams participated enthusiastically in the competitions. Ms. Meeta Rampal and Ms. Rachna Baghel were the judges of the competitions. Ms.Rachna Baghel is alumini of our college who is graduated in 2017 and currently working as Faculty in fine arts ,at shiv college for Education, Tigaon.Dr.Manju Dua (officiating principal) applauded the overwhelming response of the students and stressed upon the importance of learning new skills and crafts. Ms. Archna Dua, Head of the Department, Home Science told about the importance of having entrepreneurial skills in the students for making them self reliant. Prizes were given to the winners and certificate of participation were distributed to all the students who successfully completed the 3 day workshop.Mrs. Usha Pant and the other faculty members participated enthusiastically in the program.
The Department of Chemistry (PG), K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad had organised a 5 day workshop from 13-17 February 2023 on, ‘How to write a research paper’. The workshop aimed at developing an aptitude for research and writing research papers among the students. It focussed on providing the students a step-by-step guidance on writing a research paper. Dr. Soumita Talukdar was the resource person from G D Goenka University, Gurugram for the first day. She explained the meaning of research in a very clear manner. She also explained the students regarding forming the title and the abstract of the research paper and the meanings of various terms used while writing a research paper. The resource person for the second day was Dr. Krishna Dutt Chauhan from Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences, BCAS, University of Delhi. He very nicely explained the qualitative and quantitative analysis while writing a research paper. He also explained the students regarding the concept of patents and impact factors of various journals. The two resource persons for the third day, Dr. Annu Kalra and Dr. Purnima Verma, both are from the Department of Chemistry (PG), K. L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women Faridabad. Dr Annu Kalra explained about the introduction part of the research paper writing and how literature review is done for writing down the introduction. She also told what and which sources to refer to for preparing the introduction. The students were told about mistakes to be avoided while writing the introduction for a research paper. This was followed by a 2nd presentation from the other resource person, Dr Purnima Verma. She clearly explained to the students the concept of journals and how research papers are processed for publication. She also showed the students examples of various journals in the field of Commerce, Arts, Mathematics, Physics and many other subjects. The concept of indexing, Scopus, UGC Care journals was well explained by Dr Purnima Verma. The resource person for day 4th was Dr. Pooja Sawhney from Prime Labs, Faridabad. She talked about the results and discussion part of research paper writing and how the results are framed. She also explained what critical points should be kept in mind while writing the discussion part as it is the heart of the paper. Taking examples from various fields like political science, chemistry, biotechnology and others, she clearly described the importance of clear and precisely written results and discussion in a research paper. Dr Nadeem Luqman from Amity University, Gurugram was the resource person for the last and fifth day of the workshop. He very nicely and clearly explained the various techniques used in data analysis and also what types of parameters should be employed for a certain type of data analysis while preparing for a research paper. All the registered students for the workshop received certificates from the organizers along with group photographs with the resource person and all the dignitaries present. More than 150 students were registered in the workshop. Our esteemed Principal, Dr Manju Dua Mam congratulated everyone for the success of the workshop and also motivated the students to go for writing research papers and also explained to them the importance of writing a research paper and how it will help them in their future. Dr. Meenu Dua Mam, Head, Department of Chemistry also appreciated and encouraged the organizing team for their wonderful efforts in making this workshop a success. Feedback was obtained from all the registered students.
An extension lecture on the topic ” Tally with G.S.T” was organised by the Department of Commerce and Management on 21st October 2023 at 10:30 Am. The Resource Person for the session was Mr.Kishen Manocha Account Consultant Working with 9 Pvt Ltd Co., 1 public ltd company, 8 proprietorship, 1partnership The lecture dealt with the concept of project based learning and it’s benefits to the students. Principal ma’am Dr. Manju Dua also explained students about thinking new ideas and upskill themselves for better employability. The session was very interesting as the speaker interacted with the students . The students were enthusiastic to participate. Around 150 students attended the Session.
IQAC of K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad organized “Meraki 2023 Young Researchers’ Conclave” – International Research Paper Presentation for UG and PG students on 17th October, 2023. The motive of this Research Conclave was to provide an International platform to the young researchers’ of various disciplines, where they could share their views and research outcomes.

The event commenced with Saraswati Vandana by the students. Mehta Dayanand College has organized a National level Quiz Competition (Brainy bowl) on 13th, October 2023 under the guidance of our Principal Dr. Manju Dua as patron and Ms. Neeru Bhatia(H.O.D), Ms. Amita Dureja and Dr. Sudesh Kumari as Convenors.Co-Conveners of the event were Dr. Rajesh Kumari, Ms. Rekha Gulati & Ms. Komal Malhotra. The motive of this event was to develop interest in subject areas of Commerce and Management including competitive aspects. Quiz was based on basic knowledge of Commerce & Management, Abbreviations, Marketing i.e. Logo, Brands, Adds etc., well known personalities and current affairs related to Commerce and Management. Event started with lamp lighting. After that introduction of teams were given and rules for the quiz were announced.9 teams from various states participated in this competition. There were 5 rounds. After 3rd round 4 teams eliminated. Competition continued with remaining teams. Team F(Government College, Jind) secured 1st prize while team E( DAV College of Management, Faridabad) secured 2nd prize. 3rd position secured by team B (K.L.Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad). Ms. Neeru Bhatia(H.O.D) congratulated the students and appreciated the faculty members for organizing such a knowledgeable event.

Mehta Dayanand College for Women organized One Day National Level Workshop on “Implementation of NEP 2020 in Higher Education Institution” organised by R&D Cell and NEP Committee on February 26, 2023 in the College. The workshop was inaugurated by Shri. Anand Mehta, President, MDES, Dr. K.K.Gupta, Principal, Aggarwal(PG) College, Ballabgarh, Haryana and Dr. Manju Dua, Principal, K.L Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad by lighting the lamp. It was followed by Saraswati Vandana by students of Music Department. Shri. Anand Mehta motivated the academicians to learn how to implement NEP. Dr. K.K.Gupta was the Keynote Speaker on “Quality: An outcome of synergy between NAAC Accreditation Framework and Tenets of NEP 2020.” He said, “A teacher gives intelligence and A Guru gives wisdom.” “Intelligence leads to arguments and wisdom says what is right.” “Spiritualism leads to holistic development. “ With the advent of NEP 2020, New Era of Education and with strong foundation on rich Indian (Art, Culture, Civilization, Sacraments, Heritage and History) core values and Global Standards is dawning in India. It has seeds of a total paradigm shift of education in this country.
The second Resource Person was Prof. Rishi Pal, Chairperson Deptt. of Psychology & Behavioral Sciences, Dean, Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, Palwal, Haryana. He gave enlightenment on the topic ” Role and implementation of NEP.” He said ” Development is a spiral process.” ” Placement was not responsibility of gurukuls but skill giving was their responsibility.” ” Technological Advancements is required.” ” Skills can not be practised without innovation and creativity.” ” Creativity is an instrument of Invention.” “NEP promotes the thought we should be creative teachers.”
In the evening session, Dr. Chavi Bhargava Sharma, Senior Psychologist , Psychotherapist, Mental Health and Wellness Consultant was the Resource Person. Her topic was “NEP 2020- Scaffolding Strategies – Enhanced Learning for Students & Faculty”. Dr.Chavi told how the 360 degree Student Development is possible through implementation of NEP. She gave examples from Psychology coorelating it to NEP to show the Teaching Learning Process. The workshop was convened by Dr. Sheel Singh and Dr.Beena Sethi. The anchoring was done by Dr. Shweta Arya and Dr.Nupur Goyal. Many academicians (25) all over India joined through online mode and gave very positive feedback for the workshop. Workshop was really beneficial to learn all the key points of NEP and how to implement it. Dr.Manju Dua (Officiating Principal) have always been a support to have such an interesting and informative workshop. 85 academicians were part of the workshop and listened to the speakers enthusiastically in the College Auditorium. Dr. Beena Sethi concluded the workshop with vote of thanks.
A 7 – Day workshop was organised by Department of Computer Science for Administrative staff on “Office Automation System”. The workshop was from 9 Jan. 23 to 17 Jan 23.
The primary objective of this workshop was to equip our non- teaching staff with essential skills and knowledge to navigate and Excel in the evolving digital landscape within the administrative Domain.
The enthusiastic participation of the non – teaching staff fostered an environment of collaboration learning, allowing everyone to share experiences and learn from another.
In conclusion , the workshop fully achieved its goals by enhancing the digital proficiency of our non- teaching staff. The collaborative spirit and positive feedback indicates a strong foundation for future workshops aimed at furthering the professional development of our administrative staff. The workshop was well organised by Dr. Neha Jain ( Head, Department of Computer Science) Ms. Kritika Vaid and Ms. Vishakha Garg and participants thanked respected Principal Mam, Dr.Manju Dua for their valuable enriching experience in the workshop.
Dept of computer science and “Zerone Digital club” organised ” Seminar on Python” with “Froyo Technologies” on 9th June, 2022. Students of BCA M.Sc(CS) and M.Sc(Maths) attended this event . Mr. Rajinder Kumar(Data Scientist) and Mr Manish Kumar(General Manager) took this session. Students learnt about Python language and also cleared their doubts by asking questions from the mentors. Principal Dr. Manju Dua Ma’am and Dr. Neha Jain, HoD of Computer Science Department appreciated the whole program and motivated students to surely attended such kinds of sessions which enhance their skills . Ms. Shivani Gupta (Convener) and Ms.Kritika vaid (Co-Convener) organised the whole Event.approx 150 students were attended the Seminar.
6th May 2022 was the DAY 3 of the Workshop. It was conducted for B.Com.(Pass) stream students in separate sessions by Ms. Shivani Gupta, Ms. Ekta Soni and Ms. Kritika Vaid ,Assistant Professors, Department of Computer Science. Approximately,120 students of B.Com(Pass) stream has attended the Workshop. Through this Workshop, students learnt about how to prepare a professional resume that reflects their skills, knowledge and education that are relevant to the job they are seeking. Dr. Manju Dua, Officiating Principal also shared their knowledge and experience with the students.The workshop continued for 3hrs in Smart Lab of Department of Computer Science. After the Workshop, the students were able to draft their own Covering Letter and make a Professional Resume.
Department of Computer Science under aegis of Zerone- Digital Club celebrates ‘National Security Day’ and ‘World Literacy Day’ on 1st and 2nd December respectively. Students of various Departments learn to make a brochure. The highlight of this workshop was that it was taught by the students of final year of BCA program. Dr. Manju Dua, Principal appreciated the concept and motivated the students to teach these skills to their classmates. Dr. Neha Jain (Hod, Dept. of Computer Science) told the students to get expertise in this by working on it. Ms. Neetu and Ms. Kritika Vaid (Conveners) organised the whole event and answered all the queries at the end of workshop. Students were excited to put their knowledge in action now
The Department of Mathematics organized an Expert Talk on topic “Applicative Aspects of Reliability Theory” by Dr. Reena Garg ( Assistant Professor) J.C.Bose University,YMCA faridabad under the guidance of respected Principal Dr.Manju Dua and HOD Dr.Meenu Dua. Around 70 students from M.Sc(Maths) and B.Sc (Non medical) students were present there and interacted with resource person.The talk was on reliability, maintanability and availability which were wonderfully explained by Dr. Reena Garg. She effortlessly explained how system is reliable.Mam told to students how we can calculate warranty of any appliances by using Mathematical Modelling.The session was completed by questions answer session. Our head Dr. Sheel Singh appreciated team work of our department and were present during the whole talk. The session ended by giving Vote of thanks. All staff present during whole talk.
Under the guidance of our Principal Dr. Manju Dua Ma’am, Guidance & Placement Cell along with Department of Computer Science of our College has organized Workshop “Techno-literacy” from 2nd March 2022 to 7th March 2022(One Week Workshop). The main aim of this workshop was to gain knowledge as well as skills to operate Computers to all the non-computer background teachers. After the workshop completion, teachers were able to learn basics of Ms-word, Ms-PowerPoint, Ms-Excel and E-Mails. Ms. Gurpreet Kaur and Ms. Shivani Gupta was the convener of this FDP.
Women Cell celebrated “Women in Business” on 22nd Sept 2022 and organized expert talk by Ms. Pallavi Sharma, co- founder of Cafe Bogchi Sec 15 and CEO at Fuel Save Systems and Devices Pvt. Ltd. The event was inaugurated by the Resource Person, Principal Dr. Manju Dua ma’am and Dr. Beena Sethi ma’am. Ms. Pallavi Sharma shared her journey as entrepreneur with the students of Women Cell. Principal Dr. Manju Dua ma’am advised students to believe in themselves and keep chasing their dreams. Under the guidance of Convener Ms. Madhu Saitya, Women Cell also gave platform to the member students to showcase their creations to the Resource Person. Ms. Pallavi Sharma appreciated and encouraged the participants. Co-Conveners Dr. Babita Singh and Ms. Shobha Chawla co-ordinated the whole event. Ms. Ganga Hariharan and Ms. Ishika Chauhan from B.Com(C. A) 3rd year hosted the event.

Dr. Babita Singh and Ms. Shobha Chawla, Co-Conveners of Women Cell presented the momento to revered Principal ma’am. Convener of Women cell, Ms. Madhu Saitya, informed the students about the agenda of the Women Cell. They were asked to be active participants in the cell and be leader in the future. Principal ma’am, Dr. Manju Dua inspired the students to be bold , confident and share their problems freely. Around 450 students participated in the event.
Guidance and Counselling Cell organized an “On-Campus Placement Drive” in collaboration with “Anantaa GSK Innovation Pvt. Ltd. on 29th June,2022 . HR Head Mr.Visual Setia and Sales Manager Ms. Chanchal Aggarwal came for the selection process which includes written test followed by personal interviews. Students of BCA, B.Com( voc), & B.Com( CA) participated in these drive with great enthusiasm . Ms.Kritika Vaid(Convener) and Ms. Monika Bhatia & Ms.Rupinder kaur(Co-conveners) coordinated the whole program.
Guidance & Counselling Cell organized a Job Fair on 13th June,2022 at 10:30 am in auditorium. Our worthy Principal mam and distuiguished guests CA Harsh Kumar Mittal (Chairman Faridabad Branch of NIRC of ICAI) and CA Rajinder Singh Dhillon( Secretary, FaridabadBranch of NIRC of ICAI) inaugrated the session by lightning the lamp. 58 CA firms arrived for hiring students of Commerce and Management. Approximately 200 students from various colleges were benefitted from the drive. Principal Dr. Manju Dua Ma’am and Convener Dr. Sudesh Kumari and Dr. Neha Jain appreciated the session. Guidance and Counseling Cell organized On-Campus Placement Drive with Aptech Learning Centre.Ms. Hanika Singh,Head of Learning Centre gave guidance about programming languages like C,C++,Python etc and Web Development to students & also took their interviews. Guidance and Counseling Cell organizes a talk with F2DF Pvt. Ltd on the topic “StartUp : Apni Online Dukaan”.The Company’s representatives introduced their app also. In this session, students learnt how to create their own Web page and URL to sell their skill based products or services.They also learnt about marketing the products or services. Principal ,Dr. Manju Dua Mam, appreciated the efforts. Convener, Ms.Monika Singla and Co-Convener Ms. Rupinder Kaur coordinated the whole program with the help of other faculty members. Students also participated with great enthusiasm. It was an interactive session.

Mr. Som Sharma & Mr.Suman Kumar Singh took interviews of students having knowledge of Tally software, from BBA , B.Com and B.C.A Students participated with great enthusiasm. Honourable Principal, Dr. Manju Dua congratulated students who got selected and those also who tried . Ms.Shivani Gupta (Co-Convener ) & Ms. Suman Lata Yadav coordinated the whole program. Three students got selected out of 24 students after two rounds of drive.

Mrs. Sonal Kharbanda(CEO) and Mr. Sugeet Kharbanda(Director) took interviews of students. Students from various streams participated with great enthusiasm. Research Committee has organised a one day workshop on ‘ Entrepreneurship For Undergraduates’ on 25-May-2022 under the guidance of Dr. Sheel Singh and Dr. Beena Sethi for Inculcating the awareness about start-up as well as for entrepreneurship. The Resource person Mr. Anurag Pandey, Entrepreneur shared his journey as entrepreneur and motivated the students to venture the small scale start-ups. Students were given tips and ideas on new start-ups and developing a business idea into reality. Dr. Manju Dua ( Officiating Principal) appreciated the initiative taken by research committee. The program was well co-ordinated by organising team members. The workshop concluded with a question-answer session on new business ideas.

“WORLD EARTH DAY”was celebrated by the Department of Botany ,Zoology & Biotechnology on 22nd April, 2022 .Slogan writing & E- brochure making competitions were organized on the topic “Invest in your planet “to encourage the students to save our planet and adopt eco-friendly measures.
Students participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. On this occasion Principal, Dr. Manju Dua appreciated the efforts and unique ideas of the participants.

On 22nd of December 2021, Department of Mathematics celebrated National Mathematics Day. On this occasion college has organized an Intercollege competition where the events are Rangoli, poster making and PowerPoint presentation .Students from different Colleges are participated with great zeal and enthusiasm to mark the day a great success.
Social science forum of Political Science, Sociology, History and Economics department organize several thought provoking and educative congregations for developing in depth knowledge of their respective students. They organize debates, group discussions, Seminar etc. All important National and International days are celebrated with fervor. Political Science Forum organized National Seminar on the topic th Parliamentary Government in India-Challenges And Panacea on 15 March 2016. Dr. D. Suresh-IAS Divisional Commissioner Gurgaon inaugurated the seminar. Dr.Ved Pratap Vedic a well known senior journalist, Dr.Himanshu Roy, Dr.S.P.Singh and Dr.krishan Murari renowned Professors from University of Delhi were the main resource persons. Ms. Garima Mittal-IAS Administrator HUDA, Faridabad chaired the valedictory function and presented certificates to the participants
