K.L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad witnessed a dynamic convergence of athleticism and cultural vibrancy as it hosted the Annual Sports Prize Distribution Ceremony alongside the spirited Falguni Parv.The campus radiated with enthusiasm as students, faculty and guests gathered to honour the achievements of athletes and enjoy the festivities of spring. The inauguration ceremony of the celebration was graced by the esteemed presence of our Chief Guest Mr. Anand Mehta (President, M.D.E.S), Mrs. Shubh Mehta (Director Self Finance) and Principal Dr. Manju Dua. Their dignified presence added a touch of grandeur and significance to the occasion, symbolizing a shared commitment to academic excellence, cultural enrichment and community engagement. Chief guest Mr. Anand Mehta extended heartfelt congratulations to the athletes for their remarkable achievements in the fields. He acknowledged the profound impact of sports in fostering camaraderie, discipline and resilience. Principal Dr. Manju Dua commended the organizers and students for their tireless efforts in ensuring the success of the event. She extended warm congratulations to the athletes for their exemplary performances. The day commended with the much anticipated Sports Prize Distribution Ceremony, recognizing the dedication and excellence of our student athletes.Medals, trophies and certificates were awarded to deserving winners, inspiring applause and admiration from the audience.Eleven students secured 2nd and 3rd position in International taekwondo competition.Four students won gold, silver and bronze medals in National taekwondo championship.Six students participated in Inter University championship, out of which one student secured 2nd position and one student won bronze medal. Thirteen students participated in Football Inter college tournament. Following the exhilarating conclusion of the prize distribution ceremony, the campus transformed into a kaleidoscope of colours and cultural revelry as Falguni Parv festivities took center stage. A myriad of stalls adorned the grounds, offering delectable cuisines, traditional craftsmanship, exhilarating games, ECCE display and intricately woven fabric displays etc. Students showcased their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit through an array of such captivating stalls.From tantalizing food stalls to intricate mehndi and nail art, fabric displays and engaging games, the diverse offering promised something special for every visitor.The air was filled with aroma of delicious cuisines at food stalls, where students showcased their culinary talents. Likewise, Natural Holi colours stall, resin art stall,herbal tea stall, fabric stall, nail art stall, mehndi stall and jewellery stalls displayed an impressive array of craftsmanship and creativity of students providing a feast for the eyes.Adding to the excitement were games stalls, offering a variety of interactive challenges and friendly competition for all the attendees. Cultural performances, including music,dance, yoga and taekwondo show etc. captivated audience and left a long lasting impression. The success of the combined celebration owes much to the dedicated leadership and unwavering support of our esteemed Principal Dr. Manju Dua.This memorable day served as a testament to the college’s vibrant culture and unwavering commitment to excellence in all endeavours. This event was very well organised under the supervision of overall inchrages namely as Ms. Archna Dua, Dr. Sangeeta Kulshrestha and Ms. Sangeeta Adlaka. Other organizing team members were Ms.Benu, Dr. Shveta Arya, Ms. Monika, Ms. Kiran, Ms. Priyanka Pawar, Ms. Jyoti Yadav and Ms. Sujata.
